“Volunteers don’t get paid- not because they are worthless, but because they are priceless.”

A Team Manager has a significant impact on the success of a team‘s season. While the Head Coach takes responsibility for everything that happens on the ice, the Manager typically takes responsibility for everything off the ice.

Often it is assumed the Manager is only a team administrator. However, the best managers provide leadership to the team, facilitate administration and manage the people involved.

The Team Manager and the Head Coach must work together to establish the culture of the team, and establish a structure for the team. The Team Manager is often also the link between the team, Bow View Ringette, and Ringette Calgary.
